SEARCH PARTIES SCOURING COUNTRY (From Our Oven Correspondent) AVATIII. To-day. There is still no trace of Mr. Thomas ! Prank Tierney, Avho has been missing i since Monday. Search-parties under the guidance of Sergeant Calwell scoured the country as far as the coastline yesterday with- : out success. The missing man was last seen by his parents at 5 p.m. on Monday going in the direction of the milking shed. : and for a while it was thought that he was AAorking round the plant, but when he failed to return for supper his ! parents became alarmed and caused a search to be made. More parties from the Mataura Va 1j ley Settlement have taken up the 1 search to-day.
