THE NEW ZEALAND LAWN TENN IS CHAMPIONSHIPS—E. L. Bartleet (Auckland) defeated Dr. J. T. Laurenson (Waikato) in the semi-final of the singles championship yesterday. They are old rivals and partners. Laurenson was the singles champion of 1921 and he and Bartleet defend their doubles title to-day.
