HOROTIU SMASH
OPENING OF INQUEST lFrom Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Wednesday. An inquest concerning; the deaths of Mrs. Alice Armstrong, Miss Violet Howse and Mrs. Lindsay Anderson, who were killed in the level-crossing smash at Horotiu yesterday, was opened before the acting-coroner, Mr. B. C. Lowry, J.P., and a jury of four, this afternoon. After formal evidence of identification had been taken, the inquiry was adjourned.
