OVERSTAYED HIS WELCOME CHINESE GOES TO GAOL Press Association 'WELLINGTON, To-day. Frank Leung Wing, a Chinese, aged 26, arrested on a warrant at Petone for overstaying his temporary permit to stay in New Zealand, was to-day sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment in °rder that lie might be held pending the completion of arrangements for his deportation. Accused stated that at the time his permit was issued he was loming on holiday, and had been granted an extension. The collector of customs remarked r-n the fact that a considerable number of Chinese were remaining in New Zealand after the expiry of their permits. \
