MAWSON FOR ANTARCTIC

EXPEDITION PLANNED ADELAIDE, Monday. The noted explorer, Sir Douglas Mawson, is going to Melbourne immediately, en route to England. It is understood his object is tocomplete arrangements for an expedition he intends to lead to the Antarctic toward the end of the year.

MESSAGE FROM WILKINS (Australian and K.Z. Press Association) LONDON, Monday. The following copyright message ha 3 been received from Sir Hubert Wilkins, who is on an expedition to the South Pole: “We are marking time awaiting suitable weather for further exploration. Snow is necessary to furnish surfaces suitable for skis for the planes. Further flights on wheels would not be pf much value.”
