VIOLENT EXPLOSION
SYDNEY SHOP WRECKED MOVIE THEATRE DAMAGED Reed. 10.15 a.m. SYDNEY. To-day. A violent explosion, the cause of which is unknown, wrecked a boot shop in front of a picture theatre in the suburb of Earlwood’ early this morning. Fire broke out, and the roadway was strew-n with debris.
The picture theatre was damaged, the walls being' 9 cracked, and other buildings nearby "were also shaken. Firemen subdued the flames.
