Dr. S. L. Hnrke, port health officer, returned to his duties after seven months' sick leave yesterday. During his absence Dr. G. Graham Russell took his place.
Mr. Leon Harris, factory representative of the Auburn Automobile Co., U.S.A., is visiting Auckland on business, and is staying at the Central HoteL
Writing to a. friend at Onehunga, Mr. W. J- Jordan, M.P., states that he expected to leave England about December 14. He will travel via Suez and will connect with the Niagara at Sydney, arriving at Auckland about the second week in February.
