SALES OF N.Z. BUTTER AND CHEESE
After holiday trading, there is unusual strength in the market in London for New Zealand dairy produce. The latest reports confirm former advices that sales were being well maintained. Dated December 29, a cablegram to Amalgamated Dairies, Ltd., said: “Butter: Our prices unchanged. Market quiet this week but steady with a firm undertone. Danish, 200 s spot, 191 s f.o.b. Deliveries of New Zealand, 398 tons; stock 1,737. Retail prices unchanged. Cheese; White, 965; coloured, 99s to 100 s; market very quiet. Canadian, 108 s to 112 s. Retail prices unchanged.
