SIXTY YEARS WED
DEVONPORT DIAMOND WEDDING MR. AND MRS. MOSES ENSOR On Saturday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Moses Ensor, of 11- Victoria Road, Devonport, celebrated their diamond wedding. Many of their children, grandchildren, and other relations were present, and they presented Mrs. Ensor with a fine bouquet of cut flowers. Mr. and Mrs. Ensor were married at Staffordshire, in England, in 1868, and they came out to New Zealand together in the following year. They settled at Thames, where Mr. Ensor worked for 11 years as a miner. In 1880, however, ho was blinded by an explosion in the mine, and had to find other work. They continued to live at Thames until about 10 years ago, when they came to Auckland, and settled at Devonport. Mr. and Mrs. Ensor have several children, and numerous grandchildren. They both enjoy excellent health. ___________
