GIRL’S STORY OF INCIDENT AT PICTURES MYSTERY SURROUNDS DEATH (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) • NEWCASTLE, Sunday. There has been another strange case ot poisoning. Hilda Johnson, aged 15, became violently ill after eating a portion of chocolate last evening and died. The girl said a friend handed round the chocolates at the pictures. Those she had tasted bitter, and she only ate half of them and placed the rest in her handkerchief. The police intend to analyse the chocolate. They have ascertained that the girl was not at the pictures at all. However, the girl died without disclosing with whom she had spent the evening.
