GOOD YEAR FOR AUSTRALIA COMMERCIAL OPTIMISM (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY, To-day. Commercial and financial institutions are looking forward to the new year optimistically. They declare the money market is easy. Banking resources are larger than a year ago and restrictions upon advances have been considerably relaxed within recent months, and the season has been good for primary producers. The New South AVales, Victorian, South Australian, and AYestern Australian wool clips are also of considerable dimensions and realising good prices.
There is a substantial wheat harvest, at least a hundred million bushels, being available for export. Summed up, commercial circles say the outlook promises well for a normal year.
