PRESBYTERIANS CONFER
MEETING AT HAMILTON
(Special to THE SUN) HAMILTON, To-day. The work of the Presbyterian Bible Class Conference at present meeting in Hamilton was continued on Saturday and Sunday. Addresses have been given by Mr. W. J. Holdsworth on “Christian Citizenship” and by the Rev. W. Bower Black, of Christchurch, on “The Man Serving” and “The Man Sent.” On Saturday afternoon a sports meeting was held, and in the evening the Rev. G. Budd. of Auckland, lectured on “Leaders in the Great Advetnure.” Yesterday morning a communion service was held and last evening the Rev. J. M. McKenzie, of Auckland, preached at a conference service. Other speakers have been the Revs. J. Reid (Otago), J. A. Thomson, and T. H. Roseveare (Auckland), and R. M. Ryburn, and Messrs. A. C. Whitelaw and J. H. Stainer. A river picnic is planned for the SOO delegates this afternon. The weather is fine but dull.
