ORGAN RECITAL
EXCELLENT PROGRAMME There was a good attendance at the Town Hall last evening, when the city organist, Mr. Maughan Barnett, gave one of his excellent organ recitals. The programme was a delightful one, and was as follows: —“Marche aux Flambeaux” (Guilmant): three “New Year” chorale preludes (Bach); “Scherzo” (Commette); “Star of Eve’’ (Wagner): “First Sonata (Mendelssohn) ; “Wild Rose” (Bendel); “Offertoire” (Lefebure-Wely).
