QUAY STREET MEETING

ADDRESS BY MR. NIELD Yesterday afternoon in Quay Street at the public meeting Mr. Nield, of Wellington Tabernacle, Church of God, stated that the last time he was in Auckland a man came to his meeting, and said that he had given up a position of £4 a week, when he joined the Seventh Day Adventists Church. Then he found his mistake and had to leave them, and was now without work and home.

Mr. Nield also stated that he came to Auckland 32 years ago and preached *he same ten words of God which require all created beings to observe the Sabbath, which in New Zealand is Sunday, and that Jesus died upon Wednesday, and not upon Friday, and He rose from the dead upon Saturday, not upon the first day of the week, which was the great proof sign that he gave them; to know that He was the Messiah. Many questions were asked, and replied to. A public meeting is to be held at the Manchester Unity Hall, Hobson Street,on January 8.
