RIFLE SHOOTING
CITY AND SUBURBS CLUB The second trophy series of the City and Suburbs Club was completed last week over 300 and 500 yards. Conditions were not easy, as the extreme heat caused trouble with elevation and the wind variations were difficult to pick. A. T. Patrick and H. W Cozens won a spoon each. Results are:

Cozens, rec., 7, 34, 46 —87; H. W. Verrall, scr., 39, 45—84; G G. Kelly, scr, 38, 43—81; G. P Birks. rec. 3, 36, 42—81; A. Sommerville, rec. 3. 34. 36—73; L. F. Verrall rec. 3. 32, 36—71.
Trophy points were as follow: A Grade: Patrick. 8 (winner): Pring 6; Verrall, 5; Clark, 3; Russell, 2. B Grade: Kelly, 5 (winner). Cozens, 4: errull, 4: L. Verrall. Sommervilie and Birks. 3; Spry and Porritt 1 The ranges for next Saturday will be 300 and 500 yards.
