TRAFFIC HOLD-UP

A defective tramcar caused a holdtip in Queen Street about one o’clock this afternoon. The check only lasted five minutes, but there was sufficient traffic about at the time to "cause a fairly serious block. Finally the car was towed away and the streets slowly emptied themselves and returned to normal.
