PRIMATE RECOVERING FROM HIS ILLNESS

(Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 10.18 a.m. LONDON, Tuesday. Dr. Cosmo Gordon Lang, Archbishop of Canterbury, is apparently recovering from his attack of internal inflammation, which has caused him considerabl pain since December 21. His physician has issued a statement saying that the archbishop passed a good night. The inflammation has continued to decrease, and there is now little pain. Sir Hugh Rigby, the King’s honorary surgeon, was called to consult with the archbishop's doctor. Dr. Whitohead Reid.
