MACDONALD AND McINNES NEXT THURSDAY’S FIGHT Tommy Mclnnes and Lachie Macdonald are in hard training for their contest in the Auckland Town Hall on Thursday evening. Macdonald, who arrived on Friday evening, is training at the City Fire Station and reports himself fit and well. His eye has healed well and it will be a hard punch that opens it again Mclnnes is training at the Y.M.C.A. and is confident he can reverse tfye decision given against him when last the pair met. This bout should provide one of the greatest fights ever staged in New Zealand and as the booking is heavy it is anticipated that hundreds will be turned away from the hall. A good programme of amateur preliminary bouts has been arranged.
