Pennant Fixtures Suspended

Club and Inter-Club Fixtures

Owing to pennant games being I suspended over the holidays, only club and inter-club games were played on the Auckland greens on Saturday. The large number of players who were absent made it difficult to make up games in some instances. The weather was fine and the greens were in good order, ensuring keen competition among players. PUKEKOHE (Special to THE SUN) PUKEKOHE, Sunday. Members of the Pukekohe Bowling Club were engaged yesterday in a pairs tournament. Fourteep pairs, divided into two sections, competed. Payne and Pleydell tied with Estall and Crosbie for winning place in section A, while Jamieson and Cooper won section B. The play-off in section A and the final are to take place at the convenience of the pairs concerned. WHANGAREI (Special to THE SUN) WHANGAREI, Saturday.
