SENIOR B MATCHES
The following are the results of the senior B grade matches played under the auspices of the Auckland Cricket Association on Saturday: SENIOR B Parnell v. Shore A Parnell's first innings produced 184: Luke 64 and Roskilly 60 being top scorers. R. Smith (46) and Natsmtth «3S) made a solid third-witket stand, the innings of the young colts showing sound defence with some nice scoring strokes. Shore then collapsed and had seven wickets down -or 170, but "Dan" Lusk, the Shore captain, went in late to put the issue beyond doubt. He and W. Horsley added over 100 for the last wicket. Lusk scored very freely with powerful carpet drives and strong pull shots which frequently found the line. His 111 included 18 fours and a sixer. Horsley showed a strong defence and played a plucky innings. Parnell lost three wickets lor -n the second venture, Shpre securing a. three-points win by 140 runs on the ftr eirJ.en—First innings, 184 (Luke 64, Roskilly 60).
