I PEAS ALA FRANCAISE g A -m mELT l oz butter and fry 4 os M P /I/y coarsely-chopped ham in it \ \ -t-V* till a bright brown. Stir in H A one teaspoon four and add two m P| tablespoons milk. Stir until boil- p ing and the consistency of double gjs cream. Then put in one pint boiled A JR peas. Season carefully with salt * y and pepper, adding a dash of nut- ■ j |S meg and a pinch of white sugar. m Serve in a hot dish with a border * H of fried sippets of bread.
