AUCKLAND CUP
-pRINCE POINTER continues to rule favourite for the big race next week, and Tomkinson’s charge looks to be in perfect order for the contest. Jack Potts has made a lot of friends lately, while Terence Dillon is a possibility, and Kohara and Imprint, if back to their better days, will keep the rest going. Cardinal Logan was never better and may effect a surprise. Great Bingen is in excellent buckle and ready to run the go of his life. Prince Pointer and Imprint, of the Southerners, and Gold Jacket and Kohara, Northern representatives, may get some of the good money.
