NORTHERN ROADS

‘TOURING CONDITIONS IDEAL” ABNORMAL TRAFFIC Abnormal traffic is reported on all the roads north. The latest report of the A.A.A. at noon to-day was as follows: “There is a huge volume of traffic on the West Coast road, and the surfaces are grinding down to reasonable condition. “Reports from people who have used the East Coast road are very unfavourable. The weather at Wellsford to-day was dull and threatening. “Reports from Hokianga district early this morning stated that several parties from Auckland arrived last night. Touring conditions are ideal in the Far North.”
