DROWNED

SHIP SINKS NEAR RANGOON (Australian and N.Z. Press Association J DELHI, Thursday. The steamer Nansingh, which was owned by the Irrawaddy Flotilla Company, Limited, of Glasgow, foundered when she was between Moulmein and Rangoon. Her Indian crew were rescued, but both her European officers were drowned. While giving orders regarding measures to rescue the crew, Captain Goad, principal port officer at Rangoon, fell overboard from a sampan. His body has not been recovered.
