COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Gunbar arrived at Auckland this morning from the East Coast and berthed at the Central Wharf. She leaves to-night on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The Kurow has been delayed at Lyttelton by rain and now leaves to-night for Auckland direct, where she is due next Tuesday. After discharge here the vessel loads at this port and sails next Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. The Katoa is leaving Bluff to-night, via Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, for Auckland, where she is due early in the New Year. The Kaitangata, from Greymouth,

leaves New Plymouth to-day for Auckland, where she is due on Sunday. The Waipahi, en route from Dunedin and Lvttelton, sails from Wellington today and Picton to-mororw for Auckland and should arrive here on Tuesday next. The Waimea arrived at Napier yestei - day and sails this afternoon for Auckland. She is due here on Sunday and sails at 4 p.m. on Monday for Napier, thence Gisborne. The Richardson steamer Pakura arrived at Auckland this morning from the East Coast and berthed at Central Y harf to load. This eevning she is to be dispatched again from Auckland for East Coast bays (including Tokomaru Bay), Napier and Wairoa. Arriving at Auckland this morning from Gisborne, the Elsie Mary berthed at King’s Wharf to load. The Gisborne Sheepfarmers’ steamer Tiroa sailed from Gisborne at half-past ten lasts evening for Auckland. She is due here to-morrow, and will berth at King’s Wharf. , , From Auckland, via Hicks Bay ana Tokomaru Bay, the Richardson steamer Awahou arrived at Gisborne at half-past five last evening. _ . . The Apanui leaves Auckland at 4 o’clock this afternoon for Mercury Baj > Tairua and Whangamata. She is due back again at half past six on Sunday morning. , . , i The Clansman sails at 4 o clock this afternoon for Russell, Opua, Whangaroa and Mangonui. , 1 _ ... The Waiuku, sailing at 4 o clock this afternoon for Surfdale, ■ Ostend and Omiha, returns again at 8.30 a.m. tomorrow, and at 1.45 p.m. the same day leaves again for the same ports. The Rangitoto arrives at half past rive this evening from Thames, and at 8 a.m. to-morrow will be dispatched again for the same port. The Taniwha is due at Auckland at J p.m. to-day from Paeroa. She sails again at 7 p.m. on Sunday for the same port. _ The Hauiti arrives at 6.10 p.m. to-day from Coromandel, and sails again at 1.45 p.m. to-morrow for Cowes Bay. The Kawau is due at Auckland at 7 o’clock this evening from Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth. She sails again at 2 p.m. to-morrow for Kawau, Leigh and Mangawai. The Waipu is due at Auckland at S a|mi to-morrow from Kerepeehi. She sails at 6.30 p.m. on Monday for Kawau and Algie’s. The Claymore arrives at Auckland at 9 o’clock to-morrow morning from Whangarei. She sails again at 5.30 p.m. on Sunday for the same port.

The Ngapuhi is due at Auckland at half past seven to-morrow morning from Tauranga. She sails at 6.30 p.m. the same day on the return trip.
