The news of the past couple of 3ays, so happily confirmed by today’s bulletins. and further strengthened by the fact that the doctors did not deem it necessary to issue a night bulletin, has had a remarkable effect on the whole country. The fact that we may at last consider his Majesty out of immediate danger, and that slow but steady improvement seems assured, has come as a veritable tonic on the eve of the Christmas festivities. The far-reaching effects and inevitable complications of such a dangerous Illness were felt over the whole of England and the greater part of Europe.
