“RIDERS OF THE DARK” Tixn McCoy is a lieuienant of the Frontier Police in “Riders of the Dark,” now at the Britannia Theatre. Bert Roach plays the role of a sheriff in a small border town, and his duty is to put down a reigm of terror of an evil gang of lawbreakers. They threaten to lynch him for issuing: ’ warnings” against them in the local newspaper, and Roach gets many laughs by the thoroughness of his selfprotection. The gang, however, lynch, the owner of the paper. The situation is pregnant with heart - stirring suspense and adventurous action when Molly, the dead man's pretty daughter, decides to seek revenge. When she is avenged, Roach turns up to take the credit, but not the girl, who goes to Tim McCoy. This a great picture, with many famous Players iij it. “Hot Heels.” the second feature, is a bright comedy of steeplechases, starring Glen Tryon.
