TAKAPUNA’S BUSES
FLEET INCREASED BY NEW PURCHASES The fleet of yellow buses owned by the North Shore Transport Company, w hich handles the passenger traffic of Takapuna., has been augmented by the purchase of three of the most up-to-date vehicles of the Marine Suburbs Company. Until a few months ago. this latter concern was engaged in catering for the requirements of Birkenhead. All three vehicles are being thoroughly renovated and will be recommissioned in time for the Christmas holiday traffic. In addition to this purchase, the North Shore Transport Company will shortly land a new motor-bus from England.
