RIALTO, AND REGENT, EPSOM
“HEART OF A NATION” The lower East Side of New York, America’s greatest foreign Bettlemenl. is the locale of most of the action of “Heart of a Nation.” This unusual production deals with the lives of these people, and will be shown at the Rialto and Regent (Epsom) Theatres this evening. Many of the colourful scenes in “Heart of a Nation” were filmed in New Y'ork. while ma xxj others were registered at Cuniversa* City, where a complete Lower East Wide street was constructed for use in the picture. Here are the butcher shop of Schmidt and the fruit store of Albertini, where the drama is enacted. At the Rialto Theatre, Newmarket, a second attraction is provided In “Square Crooks.” a comedy of two tough characters who wanted to reform but couldn’t.
