PAPATOETOE TO HAVE WATER
RATEPAYERS SANCTION LOAN WORK TO START SHORTLY Papatoetoe ratepayers yesterday sanctioned the raising of a loan of £40,000 for the reticulation of the district with a water supply. Three hundred and eighty-eight votes were cast in favour of the loan and 66 against. Of 1,135 names on the roll, only 455 votes were recorded. It is the intention of the Town Board to put the work in hand early in t bm New Year.
