EMPLOYERS’ APPROVAL PEACE-IN-INDUSTRY PLAN British Official Wireless Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Tuesday Practically all the organisations of employers have made their replies regarding the agreement reached b< tween Lord Melehett's group of employers and the General Council of the Trades Union Congress, to promote peace in industry. Employers who are in touch with the feelings of their colleagues in other industries do not anticipate an tin Qualified acceptance or rejection of all that is contained in the interim report, but it is believed that in the main, the replies will be found to couvey approval of the efforts made to ensure a measure of closer co-opt ration in industry and a desire for joint consultation with the General Council of the Trades Union Congress. It is stated that the vast majority of the employers have been far too interested to think of anything like an unqualified rejection. A preliminary conference of an orlicially representative character may be held early in the New Year.
