CHRISTMAS PARTY
GIVEN BY LODGE MEMBERS GAIETY at dargaville The first of a series of Christmas Tree functions in connection with the Dargaville lodges took place on Monday evening, when about 60 children, accompanied by their parents, attended the treat given by the Loyal Dargaville Lodge, M.U.. 1.0.0. F. Bro. Ralph Page, N.G., took the part of Santa Claus, and was assisted by lodge members in running th (function P- Toys, games and a supper contnouted to a pleasant evening. Last evening the Druids carried out their function on similar lines. This evening the Independent Order of Oddfellows, JNT.Z., will hold its Christmas Tree treat, and on Thursday the Convent children will also be similarly entertained.
