LORNASTON DOCKED. —Henderson and Macfarlane advises that the Lornaston, which docked this morning for cleaning and painting, undocks to-mor-row and sails for Westport for bunkers. TOFU A RETURNING. —The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the Island passenger steamer Tofua arrived at Suva this morning from Apia, Samoa, and leaves the Fiiian port on Saturday next for Auckland, where she is expected on Thursday, December 27. PORT CURTIS FOR AMERICA. —The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company has been advised that the C. and D. Line’s steamer, Port Curtis, leaves Wellington to-day for Napier, where she completes loading, and finally sails this Saturday night for New York, Boston and Halifax, via Panama.
CARGO FROM THE EAST—The local office of the Union Company has been advised tha t the cargo steamer Waiotapu left Calcutta last Saturday morning via Penang, Singapore and Newcastle, for Lyttelton, ,Timaru, Dunedin, Bluff, Wellington and Auckland. She is due at Lyttelton about the middle of January and at Auckland early in February.
SYDNEY STEAMERS.—The Marama leaves Auckland at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Sydney and the Maunganui sails from Wellington at the same time. The Ulimaroa clears Sydney at noon on Friday for Auckland. The Marama and the Maunganui are due at Sydney on Monday next, and the ' Ulimaroa at Auckland next Tuesday.
MAIMOA ARRIVES.—An arrival in til© stream at Auckland shortly after 11 o’clock this morning was the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Maimoa, from Liverpool, with general cargo fox' discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She later berths at the Prince’s Wharf to unload the local portion of her cargo under the agency of L. D. Nathan and Company. ROTORUA DUE FRIDAY. —Advice has been received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company that the liner Rotorua leaves Lyttelton at 5 p.m. to-day for Auckland, where she is due on Friday afternoon to continue her loading for Home. From this port the vessel proceeds to Tokomaru Bay, thence Napier and "Wellington, to complete, and sails finally from the last-mentioned port on January 5 for Southampton and London, via Pitcairn Island. Panama and Curacoa.
REMUERA AND RUAPEHU.—Due at Auckland from London, via Wellington, on January 10, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera will complete unloading at this port, and will then commence loading here for her Homeward voyage. She will be despatched from New Zealand for London about February 2. The New Zealand Shipping Company's Ruapehu is to load at New' Plymouth, Nelson, Auckland, Lyttelton, and Wellington. She is due at Auckland on January 15, and is to sail from Wellington for London on January 29.
NIAGARA SAILS.-—ln continuation of her voyage from Sydney, the Union Company's R.M.S. Niagara left Auckland at 3 p.m. -yesterday for Suva, Honolulu, Victoria and Vancouver.
