COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Gunbar is due at Auckland tomorrow afternoon from the East Coast and sails the following day on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The Waipiata is sailing from Auckland at five o’clock this afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru and Dunedin, The Kamona leaves Auckland at 5 p.m. to-day for Westport, where she will load for Wellington. The Katoa is scheduled to clear Bluff on Friday, via Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington, for Auckland. She is due here about December 31. The Kaiapoi is due at Westport on Monday for loading and later completes at Greymoutli for Auckland. The Kaitangata is expected to clear Greymoutli to-day for New Plymouth and Auckland. She is due here about Sunday. The Waimea left Auckland last evening for Gisborne and Napier, and is due back here on Sunday. The Apanui sails at midnight to-night for the Great Barrier. She is scheduled to return again at 6 p.m. to-morrow. The Hauiti sails at five o’clock this evening for Kopu and Turua, and is expected to return again at 3.30 p.m. tomorrow. The Waiuku is due at Auckland at six o’clock this evening from Waiheke, and leaves again as usual at 9.30 a.m. > - morrow for Surfdale, Ostend and Omiha. The Taniwha is due at Auckland at half-past eight this evening from Paeroa. She sails again at 1.30 p.m. to-morrow on the return trip. The Claymore is expected at Auckland at seven o’clock to-morrow morning from Whangarei. She sails again at 7.30 p.m. the same day on the return trip. The Kawau sailed shortly before noon to-day for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point and Little and Big Omaha. The vessel is due back again at 5.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Tiroa for Hicks Bay and Gisborne, and the Awahou for Tokomaru Bay, Hicks Bay and Gisborne-were dispatched from Auckland yesterday. The Kurow arrived at Lyttelton at 8.30 a.m. to-day and sails to-morrow evening for Auckland direct, where she is due on Sunday.
The Waipahi, which left Dunedin at 4 p.m. yesterday, leaves Lyttelton tonight, Wellington on Friday and Picton on Saturday for Auckland, where she is due next Monday. On arrival here the vessel pays off.
