NORTHCOTE PARENT AND TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION
A Parent-Teachers* Association was formed last evening ii\ connection with the Xorthcote Junior High School, which embraces the school districts of Northcote, Birkenhead, Birkdale, Glenfield and Albany. Mr. A. E. Greenslade, Mayor of Northcote. presided. It was decided that membership should be open to all interested in educational progress. The following officers were elected:— Patron, .lie Minister of Education, the Hon. H. Atmore; vice-patrons. Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates and Messrs. A. Harris and 11. G. R. Mason, M.P.’s; president, Mr. A. E. Greenslade; vice-presidents, Messrs E. G. •Skeates, J. P. MePhail and H. Day; committee, Mesdames A. E. Wood, i J. Grade, F. Taylor, E. C. Davey. E. J. Bailey, R. O. White. Miss J. M. Meston, Messrs. W. J. Wernham, E. A. Johnston, E. Dixon, A. B. Congdon and P. Lee; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. F. Potter. __________________
