SMALL CHILD DROWNED

FALL INTO LAKE ROTORUA Press Association ROTORUA, To-day. Doreen Roy den Twomey, the 17-mopth-old infant daughter of Roy Twomey, tea-room proprietor, wae drowned yesterday in Lake Rotorua. The child, with a sister aged three, was playing on the edge of the lake with the father and a friend nearby. Their attention was attracted by cry from the elder child, and they found the baby had fallen into the lake. Tlits body was immediately recovered. but the child was dead.
