SEPARATED THREE YEARS

WIFE GRANTED DECREE PROVISION FOR CHiLD Judicially separated since 1925 from Edgar William Jennings (Mr. Singer), his wife Ida Susan Jennings (Mr. McVeagh) petitioned Mr. Justice Frazer in the Supreme Court this morning for dissolution of he** carriage. The husband had also petitioned, but Mr. Singer was granted permission to withdraw the petition. The wife then proceeded on the cross-petition. In evidence she said she was married in February 1923, in St. Patrick’s Cathedral and lived with Jennings until 1925, when she obtained an order for judicial separation. Since then she had not associated with her husband. - Myra Kathleen Oakley corroborated petitioner’s statements. His Honour granted a decree nisi to be made absolute in three months with an interim order for custody of the child. Mr. McVeagh said respondent had made a not ungenerous provision for the child. Money would be held in trust, the income from which would be used for its upkeep and education. Ample provision had also been made for the mother’s maintenance.
