A DECISION REVERSED

SHIPS’ COLLISION CASE SYDNEY HARBOUR MISHAP SYDNEY, Monday. A collision in Sydney Harbour on October 22, when the steamers St. Albans and Crown City were seriously damaged, was the subject of litigation, in which the owners of the Crown City, the United States Shipping Board, had sped to recover £17,000 damages. The Chief Justice, Sir Adrian Knox, held that the St. Albans was at fault, and directed the registrar in the Admiralty Court to ascertain and award damages. An appeal against this judgment to-day came before the Full Court, which upheld it, with costs. Each party is to pay its own costs of the first trial.
