Mr c. Quentin Pope, of Wellington, who has been visiting Australia, returned by the Siarama to-day.
Mr James Williams, of Wanganui, ■ind Mrs. Williams returned by the Maramu to-day from a tour of the world.
Mr A. Beasley, a director of the Goldberg* Advertising Agency, arrived from Sydney this morning by the Marama.
Mr. Robert K. Angus, who has been in Australia for the past two years, returned to Auckland to-day by the Marama.
Mr. J. B. Henry, manager of the punk of New Zealand at Auckland, has Mitered a private hospital for special Weatment.
Dr. E. D. Aubin and Mrs. Aubin, of Auckland, returned on the Marama this morning after three months spent in Sydney and Melbourne.
Mr. Zane Grey arrived at Frankton Junction this morning from Wellington, and left later in the day for Thames and Coromandel.
Mr. W. Goodfellow, managing director of the New Zealand Co-operative pairy Company, returned to Auckland this morning from Wellington.
Viscount Hampden left Dunedin this morning for Christchurch. Later he will proceed to Wellington, Rotorua and Auckland, leaving for England early in February.—P.A.
Mr. G. Tripp, head of a prominent Sydney confectionery firm, is at present visiting Auckland. He arrived by the Marama this morning and will proceed to Wellington at the end of the week.
Mr. F. G. Lundon, of Singapore, arrived in Auckland by the Niagara yesterday. He has come to New Zealand to visit his father, Mr. David Lundon, of Meadowbank Road, Remuera.
Colonel G. C. Stubbs, D. 5.0., as-sistant-commandant at the Duntroon Military College, Australia, arrived in Auckland this morning from Sydney by the Marama. He is attached to the Suffolk Regiment, with which the Auckland Rifles is affiliated.
Mr. W. B. Taverner, Minister of Railways, and Mayor of Dunedin, says he has definitely decided to continue to live in Dunedin. Mr. Taverner intends to make a comprehensive tour of the Sorth Island Railways about the middle of next month and afterwards he will tour the South Island.
The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates and Mrs. Coates will arrive at their home at Matakohe on Saturday next from Wellington.
