“MIDNIGHT FROLICS”

CHANGE OF PROGRAMME TO-MORROW The bright and versatile “Midnight Frolics” are still filling His Majesty’s Theatre. To-night they will present the second programme for the last time, and to-morrow, "Wednesday evening, will give an entirely new series of sketches, songs, dances, jazz numbers and novelties. Clem Dawe and his associates in fun are having a right royal reception from amusement lovers. Crowded and delighted houses have been the rule since the company opened. The new sketches include “The Marriage Bureau,” “Last Shot,” “Getting His Insurance,” “Tlie Wedding Ring,” “A Musical Breach of Promise” and “Aboard the Saucy Sal,” in all these the inimitable Clem Dawe plays the part of the chief funmaker and he is assisted by Eric Edgeley, Gertie Cremer, Les and Dorothy White, Ray Raymond, William Perryman and Oscar Beck. The musical trio have become great favour-ites and theii' theii* numbers are sure of a welcome.

The jazz band has an almost unlimited repertoire and all its offerings will be new. Phyllis Amery in the latest j dances, Lillian Crisp in songs. Gregory j Ivanoff and his violin, the Dick Dorothy ; Trio in specialities, John Robertson in novelties, all assist in a programme that should suit all theatre-goers. The next matinee is on Saturday, when Clem Dawe has a special message for the children.
