GEORGE WALLACE ON SATURDAY Lovers of bright reyue should be present in. force at the St. James Theatre next Saturday evening, when the George Wallace Revue Company will open its Auckland season. George Wallace, known universally as “the King of Mirth,” is, of course, the main comedian of the new show’. He has enjoyed years of popularity in Australia and New Zealand, and his fount of mirth is said to be as strong as ever. His sketches are novel and amusing, and are a feature of the new show, together with jokes and quips, of the order that George Wallace knows is enjoyed by his audience. This revue company has just completed a most successful tour of Australia, and will bring to the St. James the same artists and programmes presented in the Australian theatres.
