BACK AT OLD GAME
HOUSE-BREAKER GAOLED PRISON FOR A YEAR Guilty on two charges of breaking, entering and theft at Otahuhu, Olaf Christian Carlson, alias Carl August Klingenberg, was sentenced to a year’s imprisonment in the Supreme Court this morning by Mr. Justice Frazer. Karlson had also pleaded guilty to being found in possession" of housebreaking instruments. “The probation officer does not recommend probation,” said his Honour. “Your record seems to show that you have gone back to your old offence of breaking and entering. The intermediate crimes have been of theft only,” remarked the Judge in passing sentence.
