DROWNED IN RIVER

FARMER’S BODY RECOVERED FATALITY AT OTOROHANGA (From Our Own Correspondent) OTOROHANGA, To-day. A verdict of accidentally drowned was returned by the coroner, Mr. R. H. Somerville, J.P., at the inquest at Otorohanga concerning the death of Mr. Allen Sinclair, f 54, who was found drow ned in. the Waitomo Stream on Saturday. Evidence was given that Air. Sinclair, who was the proprietor of the Underwood Pig Farm, Otorohanga, about two miles from Otorohanga, did not return to his hotel on Friday evening. A search was made and his hat was fund on the bank of the stream. Subsequently his body was recovered from the stream. A bucket was found on the bank and it was supposed that in getting water for his pigs he slipped and fell into the deep water. Air. Sinclair was a native of Scotland, and was a very successful pig farmer. He was a member of the British Pig Farmers' Association.
