MORE BRITISH MONEY CROSSES THE ATLANTIC

A payment of £8,840,000 was made to-day by the British Government to the United States Treasury, of which sum an amount of £5,400,00 is on account of repayment of principal, the balance being interestWith this payment, the total payments to the United States since the funding of the British debt amount o £192,876.000, of which £29,400,000 has been on accoun of repayment of principal. The amount outstanding has been reduced to £890,600,00.
