SOLD TOTAL PRICE, £17,000 The record price of £447 7* 6d a foot, including the building, has just been paid for a property in Symonds Street, the total price amounting to £17,000. This is considered to be a record price for property in this street, ami has been paid for a two-storey brick block at the corner of Symonds Street and Hoepere Dane. The buyer is Mr. George Tntt, of Symonds Street, and the deal wafinalised by C. F. Bennett, Gtd. The property was lately owned by Mr. James Robertson. A price in excess of this was recently paid for hotel premises at the corner of Symonds Street, but as the figurepaid on that occasion included the hotel licence, it was not regarded as a true indication of the value of 'and in th-r vicinity.
