FINE BUILDING OPENED COST £1,500.000 TO ERECT SYDNEY, Thursday. The new Government Savings Bank, Sydney, with frontages to three main thoroughfares, which has cost £ 1,500,000 to build, was officially "Bened to-day by the Premier of New s °uth Wales. Mr. T. R. Bavin. One thousand representative men and women were present. Mr. Bavin described the bunk as the second largest of its kind in the British Empire. Its deposits totalled £70,000,000.
