NEXT IMPERIAL CONFERENCE (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) LONDON, Tuesday. The “Manchester Guardian” says the Australian Government has asked that the next Imperial Conference should be held in 1929. The British Government has agreed to hold it in September. SYDNEY, Wednesday. The Prime Minister, Mr. Bruce, says the Commonwealth Government has made no representation whatever to the British Government to hold the next Imperial Conference in 1929. as stated in a cablegram received to-day from London.
