BOLIVIA STILL IN

PAN-AMERICAN CONFERENCE DISfUTE WITH PARAGUAY (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 9.5 a.m. WASHINGTON, Wed. The Bolivian Minister announced today that his country would continue to participate in the Pan-American Conference. Previously the Bolivian Legation had formally notified the conference of its withdrawal from the gathering. Its Note, which was addressed to the chairman, Mr. F. B. Kellogg, United States Secretary of State, said that in face of the attacks by Paraguayan troops on the Bolivian fort at El Chaco the Bolivian delegates were forced to withdraw from the deliberations of the conference. The Note added that it was impossible for Bolivia to discuss a peaceful solution of the disputes between Latin American nations until Paraguay had made formal and moral reparation for the injury she had done.
