Warships Go With Pictures to London '*» DUTCH ART WORKS British Official Wireless Reed. 0.5 a.m. RUGBY, Wednesday. Two Dutch torpedo-boats will accompany to British, territorial waters the Batavia Line steamers which will bring pictures of great value for an exhibition of Dutch masters in London. The torpedo-boats will then pay a courtesy visit to London. The first boat is due to arrive to-day, and the second to-morrow. The pictures will be unloaded at Customhouse Quay, and in view of their great value adequate arrangements have been made for their protection, both during their transfer to the Royal Academy and ■while they are housed there. The pictures include those lent by the Dutch Government to be shown at an exhibition of Dutch art, which will be opened in January. In addition to the exhibits from Holland, contributions have been promised from America. Hungary, Switzerland, Finland, and Rumania. In all, there will be about 268 pictures by the old masters, 100 pictures of the modern Hague school, and 200 drawings, engravings, and etchings.
