FOR GRAMMAR PUPILS PRIZE-GIVING DATES A suggestion that photographs of the various schools be made available for purchase by the pupils was advanced by Mr. FI. E. Vaile at a meeting ©f the Board of Governors of the Auckland Grammar School Board yesterday afternoon. The chairman. Professor A. P. W. Thomas, will go into the question. It was decided to accept with thank£ the offer of the Mount Albert Old Boys’ Association to donate a gold medal for the best boxer. The Mount Albert School reported a gift of £5 for th€i library fund by Mr. Vaile. The dates of the prize-givings of the schools were fixed as follow: Auckland Grammar and Takapuna, next Monday evening; Mount Albert, next Tuesday evening; Auckland Girls’ and Epsom Girls’, to-morrow evening.
